چکیده
The origin of star-formation in customarily passively evolving early-type massive galaxies is poorly understood. We present a case study galaxy, I~Zw~81, inside the Bootes void. void galaxy known to host an active galactic nuclei (AGN). Our detailed 2D decomposition surface brightness distribution $Canada$ $France$ $Hawaii$ $Telescope$ ($CFHT$) g- and r-bands revealed multiple structural components such as nuclear point source, bar, ring, inner exponential disk followed by outer low (LSB) disk. I~Zw~81 turns out be disk-dominated with lenticular morphology. modelling multi-wavelength spectral energy (SED) shows that star-forming (SF), belongs blue cloud. find optical (g$-$r) color bar bluer than disks, far- near-ultraviolet emission observed Ultraviolet Imaging Telescope (UVIT) onboard {\em AstroSat} concentrated central few kpc region enclosing bar. strong might playing pivotal role driving gas inflow causing SF activity tandem minor merger-like interactions evident from deep $CFHT$ data. low-luminosity AGN insufficient quench SF. results are peculiar standpoint barred galaxy.

A recent analysis of high angular resolution NIR imaging and spectroscopic data in conjunction with Plateau de Bure interferometric mm-line observations indicate the presence of a circum-nuclear starburst ring of ∼1.5” (1.5 kpc) diameter in I Zw 1. High angular resolution NIR imaging, using the MPE SHARP camera at the ESO NTT, HST V-band images, as well as NIR spectroscopy with MPE 3D provide a...

We present Galaxy Evolution Explorer (GALEX) far (FUV) and near (NUV) ultraviolet imaging of the nearby early-type galaxy NGC 2974, along with complementary ground-based optical imaging. In the ultraviolet, the galaxy reveals a central spheroidlike component and a newly discovered complete outer ring of radius 6.2 kpc, with suggestions of another partial ring at an even larger radius. Blue FUV−...

We present a study of the gaseous and stellar emission in I Zw18, the most metalpoor star-forming galaxy known. Archival HST WFPC2 and FOS data have been used to analyze the spatial distribution of [O iii], Hα, and He ii λ4686. The latter is used to identify Wolf-Rayet stars and to locate nebular He ii emission. Most of the He ii emission is associated with the NW stellar cluster, displaced fro...
